Danny Stott is a DJ / producer from the UK. He released his first productions in 2008 on several small, reputable labels such as 3am, Dutchie Music and Lost My Dog. He has also remixed artists like Scope and tONKPROJECT. For his first appearance on Urban Torque, after winning Tom Middleton’s ‘Hypnotizer’ remix competition, he releases his first productions under the alias Roland Nights: ‘Bright Light’ EP.

‘Bright Light’ is a subtle EP filled with warmth and character. The first recording, ‘Bright Light’, relinquishes strong emotional depth through a simple swing of various synths elegantly uplifted by swift, delicate strings. The second recording ‘Phonic’, maintains equal depth added to cheeky heftiness. Its elevating patterns are reminiscent of ol’ school techno classics.
